This wheel thrown ceramic planter is made by Jennifer Spring Ceramics, a Seattle based modern ceramics artist.
This black clay planter measures approximately 6" tall and 7.5" wide. The container is wheel thrown and then hand carved in an inviting texture. Jennifer glazed this planter in black and revealed the texture through the glaze. This planter comes with a drain hole and matching saucer.

Jennifer hand makes each piece in her Seattle area studio. She fires all work in an electric kiln at midrange firing of approx. 2200 degrees (cone 4-6 depending on the clay body). Her ceramics are food, microwave and dishwasher safe.
