These mugs are created by Jennifer Spring Ceramics, a Seatttle area modern ceramic artist. This mug is handmade by Jennifer. Jennifer creates this mug with layered colors of slip and carves through to reveal the design.
She puts a lot of thought into how a piece functions as well as it's beauty. All her mugs feel wonderful to hold and touch! These particular mugs have a custom cutout at the top of the mug, which makes them extra comfortable and unlike any other.
They are made with porcelain, colored slip and glazed with black on the interior and handle. All materials used in making this piece are food, dishwasher, microwave safe. Actual size is 4.5" tall x 3.75" wide. Holds approximately 15 ounces.

Jennifer hand makes each piece in her Seattle area studio. She fires all work in an electric kiln at midrange firing of approx. 2200 degrees (cone 4-6 depending on the clay body). Her ceramics are food, microwave and dishwasher safe.
