These mugs are created by Jennifer Spring Ceramics, a Seatttle area modern ceramic artist. This mug is handmade by Jennifer with a process called slip casting, each piece is individually marbled and crafted by hand. The marbled design is intended to have the look of crashing waves and the pull of the undertow. Jennifer grew up near the ocean and this work speaks to her love of water and the power of the ocean.

She puts a lot of thought into how a piece functions as well as it's beauty. All her mugs feel wonderful to hold and touch! These particular mugs have a custom cutout at the top of the mug, which makes them extra comfortable and unlike any other.

They are made with porcelain, colored slip and coated with white glaze on the handle and interior. The exterior is left matte and sanded for a soft touch. All materials used in making this piece are food, dishwasher, microwave safe. Actual size is 4.5" tall x 3.75" wide. Holds approximately 15 ounces.
